What We Do

We make exceptional student builders ready for the real world of startup building, help you break down your own business model, and connect you with the best co-builders on campus.

  • Weekly masterclasses covering the full startup journey, idea validation to fundraising, and the hard truths in building
  • Find the co-builder who complements what you can't do yourself through eHub, our co-building platform
  • Hackathons and pitch days that push you to ship, building toward one flagship event a year
  • Once your team is ready, we connect you to the right mentors and partners who can take it further

Why Join Us

Here's what being part of the club actually gets you.

  • No fees or equity required to join
  • Mentorship and networking events with real founders and operators
  • Access to vetted mentors and grants
  • Peer-to-peer learning with people building alongside you
  • Specialized resources by industry
  • A growing network of OAU alumni founders

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to already have a startup idea?

^

No. Coming with a rough idea, or even just curiosity about becoming a builder, is a great place to start. What matters is that you're ready to actually put in the work once you're in.

Do I need to know how to code?

^

No. Venture Built is open to every department. If you can't build the technical side yourself, the Co-Builders space is exactly where you find someone who can.

What if I don't get in this time around?

^

You're welcome to apply again next cohort. We'd rather you come back with more clarity than not apply at all.

Does Venture Built invest in my startup?

^

No. We don't fund or take equity in member startups. Our job is to prepare you and connect ready teams to programs and investors who do.
